Kingdom Cat & Dog Rescue (KCADR) is a small animal rescue, formed early in 2015, and dedicated to helping as many unwanted and stray cats and dogs as possible. Our directors have been heavily involved in animal welfare since 2005.

Note: The images on this site span the entire time we’ve been involved in rescue and TNR.

Our role is to prevent cruelty to animals, to promote animal welfare and to pro-actively relieve animal suffering in Co. Kerry.  The organisation supports the aims of similarly minded animal welfare bodies throughout the world.  K.C.A.D.R. believes that animals have the right to live their lives free from needless suffering and we aim to rescue, rehabilitate and responsibly rehome cats and dogs that are subjected to cruelty or neglect.  We also believe that these animals have an intrinsic value entirely independent of their value or use to man and should be respected and protected accordingly.

In short, we:

  • Promote animal welfare
  • Prevent cruelty to animals
  • Relieve animal suffering

  1. If possible, I would like to do something to help animals, but don’t know where to start. I have one indoor dog, two indoor cats, three outdoor cats and three more cats who visit every day for feeding. Is there some way I can become involved or help?

  2. Hello, we are from Germany. Friends of us being on vacation in Ireland sent us a picture of Vinnie.
we are very interested in that type of dog – Whippet/Lurcher – and would be very pleased for further pictures. We would also like to know where the dog is located at the moment.
We are living near Stuttgart in a own house with big garden and a great heart for a whippet mix.
Our last dog was a very lovely whippet. He died in summer last year.
Thank you very much for your answer
